It’s no news to hear that accidents do happen on set during movie making all around the world and sometimes they are mild and on a few occasions turn out really tragic. We’ve heard stories of how people die on set as a result of very little avoidable mistakes just like a gun which ought not to be loaded for no reasons has at least a bullet which no one can explain how it got in there in the first place.

And so Denrele Edun, the weird TV personality and actor, got his own share of location accidents on the set of the film, “Pepper Soup” and has opened up on the circumstances surrounding his ordeal.

The Vanguard reported that the actor was to act a scene where he would fall and faint but it turned out an accident as he hit his forehead on a sharp object which got him seriously injured and so passed out in the process.

While sharing the experience at the premiere of the film, last Friday, at the  Civic Centre, Lagos, the bubbly entertainer said, “I fell down on the first day on set. I needed to make my role believable and so I decided to do it for real. When I started bleeding, everyone was in panic. I had non-stop migraine. “After I went for treatment, I became more careful in order not to touch my eyebrow. The character I played sheds more light on what many entertainers do these days. A lot of entertainers take these substances back to back to knock out depression and other things. Acting in this movie has changed my perception about life and it couldn’t have come at a better time,” he said.
