Ijaw leaders from Bayelsa, Edo, Rivers, Ondo, Delta and Cross River States are taking part in the emergency meeting, which is currently(Saturday, July 30, 2016) underway. The governor of Bayelsa State, Mr Henry Seriake Dickson, and the deputy governor of Delta state were still being expected at the meeting. A source told Punch that the meeting would discuss present happenings in the region and states of affairs in the country. Chief Clark, who is the convener of the emergency meeting, will also chair the event.
