Iranian terrorists?  These Aryans have been severely punished by the US. After fall of USSR, we needed new bogeyman.

1) Mosadeq coup, deprived them of democracy and Mosadeq was a moderate.

2) Mosadeq coup gave birth to BP, a price the Brits had to pay for our executing the coup.
