The role:
Our client who are a global top tier law firm are currently looking for a Systems Accountant with an accounting background to work within the Global Finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Be involved in set ups and configurations of accuracy and the control of the firms finance system (Elite 3E)
• Understand, overview and support of security around the system and the data
• Be involved in on-going development of processes and support the testing and development teams
• Be the primary contact for external auditors – receive and filter data and get involved in the evolution of Elite 3E as well as the changes and enhancements to its functionality.
Essential Skills:
• Technical experience in working with a Practice Management System (Elite 3E OR Aderant Expert) or and Enterprise Accounting System / ERP
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills (Business Analysts through to global Senior Finance Managers)
• Fully OR Part Qualified account with a membership to a recognised accounting body
• Experience in supporting month-end & year-end processing
• Must be hardworking and flexible for out of hours or extended hours.
• Experience in working with a number of currencies and jurisdictions
