Emerging reports, indicate that two deafening explosions, occurred on Sunday morning, in a crowded area. near Maiduguri’s main market, in Borno State.
The two blasts, occurred in quick succession at about 8:48 a.m.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Victor Isuku, confirmed the blasts, which he said was near Old NEPA office, not far from Monday market. Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, also confirmed that 17 persons who were injured due to the blast, and while escaping from the scene, are being attended to by Medical Personnel, in a Specialist Hospital, in Maiduguri.
