College Football Bowl Picks Against the Spread Week 1

Few things are more unpredictable than projecting how college players are going to approach a bowl game which, in most circumstances, functions as an exhibition game. Like we have been all season, Heavy is here to help you with all your college football bowl picks. Each week during bowl season, we will predict the week’s slate of games by picking the winners straight up and against the spread. For the first edition, we preview the five Saturday, December 17 matchups as well as the December 19-20 games. The Las Vegas Bowl featuring a Houston-San Diego State matchup headlines the opening bowl games. The New Orleans Bowl featuring Louisiana-Lafayette and Southern Miss is the primetime Saturday matchup and offers intrigue as well. Memphis and Western Kentucky round things out on Tuesday in the Boca Raton Bowl. All odds listed are courtesy of OddsShark and are subject to change.
