Again, Bad Weather Prevents Acting President Osinbajo From Visiting Akure, Presidency Says

Acting Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, was unable to visit Akure again on Monday due to bad weather, his spokesman, Laolu Akande said in a tweet.

“Weather conditions again prevent Ag. President Yemi Osinbajo’s scheduled visit to Akure today. Sincere apologies to the government and people from Ondo State,” he said.

It was the second time within days that Mr. Osinbajo would abort his trip to Akure. The first time last week, he was already airborne when bad weather forced him and his entourage to make a u-turn.
