Yes indeed, I mention this alot to my lefty friends.
However, in the law, there is such a thing as Latches and Estopel. As I understand it it basically says that if you have a claim against someone you have to make that claim in a reasonable amount of time. Letting an illegal alien live heree and raise a family for 20 years and then say youre illegal so must go feels morally wrong for the same reason the law was created.
If we could just develop a coherent immigration policy and then enforce it we wouldnt need a wall. Make illegal immigration illegal.
On the other side of this coin, soon in Arizona, we might want to make freedom of speech legal.
