President Buhari receiving Captured Boko Haram terrorist flag from Camp Zero in Sambisa Forest by the Nigerian Army from Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai while attending Guards Brigade Regimental Dinner Night at the Guards Brigade Scorpion Mess Abuja on 30th Dec 2016

At least four persons were injured in Nigeria on Saturday morning following an attack by two Boko Haram female bombers.

The bombers were killed during the terror attack, which took place at about 5.25am.

“Following an explosion around a mosque close to Federal high court jiddari polo, emergency response teams have evacuated the bodies of  two female suicide bombers believed to have died in the incident,” the emergency response team said in a statement.

“Four other persons with injuries were administered with first aid and transported to the hospitals.”The incident occurred at about 5.25 am,” the statement read.

The attack took place the same day a suicide bombing killed one person in Cameroon and injured many others.

President Muhammadu Buhari declared last December and just days ago that Boko Haram had been defeated.

But daily attacks and killings of many people, including soldiers seem to disprove those declarations.

Boko Haram has killed over 25, 000 people in Nigeria since 2009 and displaced more than 2.5 million people now cramped in camps across the nation.

Thousands of people have also been kidnapped, including the Chibok girls taken away exactly this month three years ago with many of them never seen again.

Many have said Boko Haram will not be defeated as long as people continue to live abject poverty and are hopeless, making them for easily fall for Boko Haram deceitful message of hope and jihad.
