Former Minister of Aviation and ex-presidential spokesman, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, has been relentless in wishing President Muhammadu Buhari a painful death. He has referred to him in statements to journalists as a “wicket dying beast” and “a fading ghost”.
He has sent messages to journalists, saying the ‘the beast was dying” and said God was punishing him for his wickedness and bloody sins, and insinuated that he deserved to die like the people he had allegedly killed.
Even yesterday and today, Fani-Kayode said the President, who travelled to the United Kingdom on Sunday for medical consultations, was not coming back and Vice President Yemi Osinbaj would take over (after he dies in London).
Last February, he wrote an opinion article, saying President Buhari would die in March. He had repeated similar arguments again and again. And even after Mr. Buhari bounced back, he said it would be for a short time.
Many politicians, even opponents, are often a bit kind when it comes to sickness and death of their adversaries, but Mr. Kayode who is battling corruption charges in court has been merciless and relentless in his wishes of death.
And so we ask, will Femi Fani-Kayode live longer than President Muhammadu Buhari or die before him?
Do you think Fani-Kayode is right in wishing the President dead? Are his arguments valid? Have your say.
