David Ross is, admittedly, not the best competitor on season 24 of Dancing With the Stars and some fans wonder how he made it to the semi-finals. Whatever the case, he has made it through with pro partner Lindsay Arnold. On DWTS, judge Julianne Hough says that Ross is a fan-favorite and he is what the show is all about, with personality and major appeal. Hough says that Ross is the underdog, but says he needs to work on tucking his bottom in when he dances. Ross jokes that it was actually his butt in his baseball pants that caught his wife’s eye.
Ross is at the bottom of the leader board and the final contestants he’s up against include Normani Kordei, Rashad Jennings and Simone Biles.
With the finale episodes airing next week, this could definitely be Ross’ last episode as a contestant.

In addition to it being the last few episodes of Dancing With the Stars, a new season of The Bachelorette will also premiere next week, with Rachel Lindsay as the star.
During an interview with Us Weekly, Lindsay opened up about what viewers can expect to see from her. She explained that:
I’m honored to be the first [black Bachelorette] … With the guys, you know, if it’s something new to them, then I want to talk about it the same way that I [wanted] to talk to Nick about it: ‘Have you ever dated a black woman before?’ I’ll talk about my experiences as well. You know, it’s about me, too, but I don’t want it to be something that defines our relationship. But I think it’s something important to address.
In addition, Lindsay says that she doesn’t really have a type and doesn’t date someone based on race. So, it’s an open playing field this season on the show and Lindsay jokes that, “This finger is ripe.”
