Recently, it was revealed that Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay dated basketball played Kevin Durant when she was in college. That’s right. Lindsay may be on a quest for love on reality television, but she’s already dated a star in the past. According to Us Weekly, Lindsay and Durant dated while they were undergraduates at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas. Sports Day reported that, in college, Durant played during the 2006-07 season and he was the first freshman to win National Player of the Year. An insider revealed that the relationship ended amicably, but also said:
They broke up when she went to law school. It was a pretty serious relationship.
Lindsay ended up going to Marquette University after she also got a B.S. in Sports Management.
Kevin Durant was previously engaged to WNBA player Monica Wright, but the couple ended their relationship, and in 2015, Durant told GQ:
I had a fiancee, but … I really didn’t know how to, like, love her, you know what I’m saying? We just went our separate ways.
Rachel Lindsay has revealed to the public that she is engaged to one of the men she met on The Bachelorette 2017, and in an interview with Us Weekly, she gushed:
I am very much so in love and very much so engaged! Every morning I wake up and pinch myself and I keep asking myself if this is really happening. It’s crazy at times. I feel like I don’t even deserve this. I feel like I’m getting everything that I want and I am getting my happy ending.
As for Durant, in recent years, he’s been linked to models Chantel Jeffries, Crystal Renee and Jasmine Shine.
