WWE host Renee Young.

WWE host and commentator Renee Young said on Friday that she was not told about the cancelation of her show Talking Smack and that she found out about it through Twitter.

On Friday afternoon, PWInsider.com reported that Talking Smack was no longer going to be airing as a weekly show after SmackDown Live. Instead, the show would only air after SmackDown Live exclusive pay-per-views. The WWE later confirmed this in a statement to PWInsider, suggesting that the decision was made due to low ratings.

“We continuously review WWE Network’s programming line-up based on a variety of factors, including viewership and subscriber research,” the company said. “Talking Smack and Raw Talk will air following pay-per-view events, and Tuesday will continue to feature 205 LIVE.”

A few hours later, Renee Young responded to a tweet from someone who was upset about the news, and seeing this tweet was apparently how she found out that she would no longer be hosting Talking Smack every week.

TDE Wrestling responded with a GIF of Renee Young throwing a Christmas present over her shoulder in frustration, and Young retweeted this GIF.

Soon, Big E responded with a GIF of Young acting confused on SmackDown Live.

Later, Young got into more detail, saying that she is very disappointed by the decision to cancel Talking Smack.

Really disappointed about #TalkingSmack. We tried to make that show great. Guess I’ll go back to welcoming my guest at this time.

This is not the first time this year that Renee Young has received unpleasant news from the WWE. During the superstar shake up in April, Dean Ambrose was traded to Monday Night Raw from SmackDown Live, while Renee Young stayed on the blue brand. Young and Ambrose are married in real life, and so this meant that they would not see each other as often every week.

At the time that this decision was made, Young responded on Twitter by saying that she was bummed her husband Dean Ambrose was traded away, although she said that duty calls. She did not say at what point she found out Ambrose would be leaving for Raw and whether the company warned her before the decision was announced.

And yes of course I’m bummed Dean went to Raw, but duty calls and bodies need to be deeds’d. 👊🏼👊🏼#SuperstarShakeUp
