What area of law interest you?
Advocacy.
What do u like most about legal practice ?
They are many but I must say that legal practice widened my
knowledge of what is happening in our society and some
norms. The problem facing the society and people’s way of life.
Why do u choose to be a lawyer?
I will say, it is a divine call and the will of Almighty God. I
chose the law profession because of high sense of respect the
society accords to the the profession. It is a noble one and I
thank God i’m lucky to be one.
What is your most critical time in practice you had deal
with?
I will say the way most senior lawyers treat the junior lawyers in
the profession, especially when it comes to welfare of young
lawyers.
What do you think that determines progress in
practice?
hard work and perseverance.
Have u ever benefitted from your
disappointment/mistake?
I will say yes because some mistakes I had encountered in
life helped to straighten me and honestly they have given me better
opportunities in life. That I thought why I made such mistakes but
along the line I noticed it was for my Good.
Could you tell us your experience as a young
lawyer?
My experience as a younger is like a heavy duty man diesel where
people have high expectations. You see yourself as a young lawyer
where most senior lawyers see that you are not blended enough to be
in the profession and as someone who cannot perfect in life. All to
make you submissive to them.
Who has been most influential in your life?
My mother Hon.Mrs Bernice Maduka JP. And also my late father whom
without his encouragement as an educationist i wouldn’t have
attained or become what I am today(may his soul rest in
peace)Amen.
Your words of encouragement to the upcoming
lawyers?
Hard work, endurance and believe that God is all sufficient.
