Buhari Appoints Tinubu Leader of APC Reconciliation Group

President Muhammadu Buhari has designated a former Governor of
Lagos State and All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader,
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to reconcile and build confidence among party
members.

Tinubu’s new assignment is contained in press statement released
by the Presidency and signed by the Senior Special Assistant on
Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

The President noted that Tinubu is expected to lead the
consultation, reconciliation and confidence building efforts.

The statement read: “As part of the on-going efforts to improve
cohesion within the All Progressives Congress (APC), President
Muhammadu Buhari has designated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead
consultation, reconciliation and confidence efforts.

The assignment will involve resolving disagreements among party
members, party leadership and political office holders in some
states of the Federation.”
