Mr. Paul Usoro SAN is currently holding another consultation
meeting with stakeholders in Calabar, the capital of Cross Rivers
State, South south Nigeria.
The meeting which is currently holding at Gomays Galaxy Hall, at
the time this report was made, is targeted at opening new frontiers
to a better discourse of matters at the bar.
In attendance are Bar-men of high standing, members of the
young lawyers’ forum, CLASFON members and other stakeholders. It is
a meeting of CRS NBA elders/strategy committee (which includes exco
of FIDA, YOUNG LAWYERS FORUM, LAW OFFICERS and CLASFON).
Leaders in attendance include the chairmen of Calabar Ogoja Ikom
NBA Branches in Cross River, the chairman, Young Lawyers Forum, the
chaitierdon of FIDA, chairperson of CLASFON, branch secretaries,
former chairmen and elders of the branches, and scretaries of Uyo
and Eket Bars.
TheNigerialawyer recalls that Mr. Paul Usoro SAN on the 15th day
of February, 2018 was welcomed home at the Obafemi Awolowo
University as Lead speaker for the Law week programme of the
Ile-Ife branch of the NBA where he gave a lecture on the theme of
the programme: Integrity of the Bar and Bench as a Panacea of
Socio-economic Development in Nigeria.
TheNigerialawyer also recalls that the learned silk held similar
meeting with stakeholders at Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State
just some days back.
