Days after its annual conference was hosted in Rivers state by
Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, lawyers across Africa will on July
gather in Nairobi as African Bar Association (AfBA) would hold this
year’s conference in the Kenyan capital.
In a release by AfBA special adviser, media and publicity, Osa
Director, “the annual conference of AfBA will hold at the famous
Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi, Kenya, from
July 22 to 27, 2018.
It reads:
“The six days conference has as its theme: Africa’s
socio-economic and political future: African Union’s Agenda 2063 in
perspective.” Distinguished speakers across the continent and
beyond will gather to analyze Africa’s future taking into
consideration the African Union Agenda 2063.
“AfBA which has members from across the various Bar and law
societies on the continent promised that Nairobi conference will be
an improvement on the rebirth conference of 2016 in Harare,
Zimbabwe and the colourful 2017 conference in the garden city of
Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
AfBA is therefore inviting lawyers, judicial officers,
government officials, politicians, businessmen and all stakeholders
from across the continent to take advantage of this large gathering
of lawyers across the continent to expand their business
frontiers.”
