The public hearing on the Hijab controversy BETWEEN THE NIGERIAN
LAW SCHOOL AND AMASA FIRDAUS (A LAW SCHOOL GRADUATE) HR. 195/2017
which is supposed to hold tomorrow, 14th March, 2018 has been
Postponed for the second time.
TheNigerialawyer recalls that the House of Representatives on
the 12th of this month announced that there will be a public
hearing on Fidaus`hijab controversy which was initially scheduled
to be held on Tuesday 6th February, 2018.
TheNigerialawyer also recalls that Justice Anwuli Chikere of the
Federal High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday, 28th February, ordered
that the public hearing by the House of Representatives on hijab
controversy between the Nigerian Law School and Ms Firdrusa
Abdulsalam be suspended pending the determination of the
substantive suit.
