Dr Foluke Dada calls on NBA Ikeja and Lagos State Government To sue For Peace

Dear Colleagues and the General Public.

Our democracy and civilization has come under attack once again
and our response at this time would determine whether a
reoccurrence happens in the nearest future or not.

I wish to place on record that an affront against Ikeja Branch
of NBA is an affront against us all and l condemn in strong terms
the siege laid on the Tiger Bar Centre which should ordinarily be a
city of refuge for Lawyers and non-lawyers as well and the
attempted abduction of the Chairman.

Government and Security Agencies should learn that engagement
should not just be civil but must be seen as so. This is one of the
parameters for measuring a Country’s advancement.

I call on both sides, the NBA and the State Government to
embrace peace and place the common interest of the people above any
form of personal interest and not allow the situation to degenerate
to a non redeemable state.
