JUST IN: Police invite, interrogate wife of murdered Credit Switch chairman

The wife of late Chief Ope Bademosi, Chairman of Credit Switch
Technology, who was murdered at his Parkview Estate residence in
the Ikoyi area of Lagos State, has been invited for interrogation
by the police.

Our correspondent learnt that the widow was invited to make a
statement following the arrest of the Togolese cook believed to
have murdered him.

The cook, identified only as Sunday, denied the murder. He,
however, claimed that Bademosi’s wife went out around the time of
the incident.

It was reported that the father of four was found in a pool of
blood by his wife, upon her return.

The cook, who was employed three days before the incident, was
alleged to have fled the estate after the incident.

He was later arrested.

The case has been transferred to the Homicide Section of the
State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba.

A police source at the SCIID said the widow had made a statement
to the police.
