* As 5 Organizations To Get Award Of Excellence

At least 12 dignitaries drawn from different works of life will
on Monday be conferred with Honournary Fellows of the Institute of
Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, (ICMC), Nigeria, while 5
organisations will be honoured with an award of excellence.

Speaking with journalists on the activities lined up for the
event, the 2nd Vice President, Amr (Dr.) Ayibaemi Ken Fashola,
FICMC, stated that the gesture was to appreciate the recipients for
their outstanding performance in the course of discharging their
duties.

He also noted that ICMC are grateful to the Honourees for their
beautiful works in adopting Mediation and Conciliation as the
primary mechanism for addressing disputes.

The following will be honoured as follows of the
institute:

Muhammadu Sanusi II, Emir of Kano, HRH Brigadier General Iliya
Aliyu Yammah Rtd, Etum Numana of Kaduna, His Excellency, Governor
Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, Governor of Ondo State, Hon.
Justice Nasir Ajanah, Chief Judge of Kogi State, Prof. Isa Hayatu
Chiroma, SAN, Director General of the Nigerian Law School, Sir
Emeka Offor, Chairman of the Chrome Group, Dr. Adaora Umeoji,
Deputy Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc, Hon. Justice Zainab
Adamu Bulkachuwa, OFR, CFR, President of the Court of Appeal,
Alhaji Ja’afuru Ahmed, Comptroller General of the Nigerian Prisons
Service, Hon. Justice Amina Augie JSC, His Excellency Governor
Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, Governor of Bauchi State, Dr. Haliru
Yahaya, Emir of Shonga.

Award of Excellence will be given to the following
organisations:

1. Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit
(GIZ).

2. Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)

3. Court of Appeal
4. National Industrial Court of Nigeria.

5. High Court of the Federal Capital Territory.

The event is billed for African Hall, International Conference
Centre. Abuja, on Monday, 3rd of Dec, 2018, at 10: am with the
THEME: “The Mediation Dilemmas in Complex Emergencies:
2019 General Elections in Perspective”.
