Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal

The Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has
challenged President Muhammadu Buhari not to undermine our
democracy by respecting rule of law of the separation of power
among the three tiers of government.

federation, CJN Justice Walter Onnoghen will be arranged on Monday
by Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT on assets declaration charges.

The Governor, who was speaking in Bodinga during the PDP
Gubernatorial campaign in the zone on Saturday. According to
Tambuwal, ” I pray and hope and wish that what I read online today
is not true, that they are trying to give CJN the Bukola Saraki
treatment.

“I am appealing to president Muhammadu Buhari to steer clear of
it. I believe whatever it is the CJN should be given a fair
hearing.

” I believe this is why APC is worried that they will lose the
election, reasons why the president refuse to sign the electoral
act as passed by the National Assembly recently”

” President Buhari is only trying to truncate our democracy. He
should be honourable enough to accept defeat” he explained.

Meanwhile, the Governor has reassured the citizens of the state
that if given the second chance, he will improve on the educational
sector where the remaining out of school children in the state will
return to school.

He said, ” we are working on provisions of water to every local
government in the state with one million cubics of water.
