Mr Isah Idris, the speaker of Jigawa State House of Assembly,
has just been impeached.
The speaker was impeached on Thursday in a hasty manner with
just 20 out of 30 lawmakers present.
Idris Garba, aka Kareka, a former speaker, was unanimously voted
in as the newly elected speaker of the House immediately after the
impeachment of Isah Idris.
