As we join millions of Nigerians across the world to celebrate
our 59th anniversary of nationhood, may I use this medium to
felicitate with our learned friends and colleagues; indeed the
entire members of the Nigerian Bar Association, (NBA).
Though as a country, we may not say that we have reached our
destination, we no doubt have several reasons to celebrate. Our
tongues and tribes, may differ; our bond of brotherhood no doubt
remains unshakeable. Our diversity remains a strong source of
strength and my belief is that we have better and fruitful years
ahead.
As we celebrate this 59 years, my sincere prayer is that the
Almighty bless our land with peace, unity and allow justice to
reign.
