#OBSCURELEGALFACTS by Arome Abu.

PENALTY FOR DISRUPTING CHURCH SERVICES AND MEETINGS AT
MOSQUES.

In Nigeria, freedom of worship is guaranteed. Hence, it is an
offence to prevent any Pastor, Imam or other Ministers of any
religion from lawfully officiating in their place of worship.

Also it is an offence to disrupt any meeting in Churches,
Mosques and or other meeting of persons lawfully assembled for
worship.

Such offender, is liable to imprisonment for two (2) years.
In the case of the later, a term of two (2) months
imprisonment.

See Section 38 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria 1999(as amended) and Section 205 and 206 of the Criminal
Code Act.

However, in North Korea, according to the United States
Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) Freedom of
religion does not exist and is, in fact, profoundly suppressed.

Citizens are expected to worship the state, and in particular,
leader Kim Jong-un. Persecution of believers in any religious faith
is the overt policy of the government”
