National Association of Polytechnic Students, NAPS have called
on the Federal Government to re-open all institutions of learning
in the country.
Speaking during a protest held in Ilorin metropolis, Deputy
Senate President of NAPS, Comrade Ibrahim Isah said the continued
closure of schools particularly higher institutions is a security
threat to the Nation.
Comrade Isah explained that since markets, worship centers and
other public spaces have been open to the general public there was
no justification for the continuous lockdown of schools.
The student leader noted that the peaceful protest was staged to
appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari to consider the immediate
reopening of institutions of learning.

detrimental approach to the future of many students who are now
becoming restless due to long period of staying idle at home.

Provision of automated hand washing machines and establishment of
