Max Kruse who continued to be a catalyst for the team after netting
another brace.
Union Berlin raced to a two goals lead inside the opening six
minutes, thanks to strikes from Robert Andrich and Max Kruse
(penalty ).
Frankfurt however turned the game around as their Portuguese
import Andre Silva scored twice in the 27th and 37th respectively
to level the game.
The visitors completed their comeback and led for the first time
when Bas Doat scored in the 79 minutes of the game.
Frankfort thought they have secured the win, but Max Kruse
scored his second of the game to make 3 – 3 with six minutes left
to play.
