A forensic expert, Andrew Agbo-Madaki, has called for forensic audit of the on going 2022 general elections of the Nigerian Bar Association
According to the Letter sighted by TheNigeriaLawyer which was addressed to the Chairman of the ECNBA and the Secretary with a Presidential Candidate, J-K Gadzama copied, there were fundamental irregularities and issues of non-compliance which marred the election process.
Mr Andrew complained that as against the modality for the election, voters have been unable to follow the results of the election on the provided website since the beginning of the election.
He also complained that graphical representation which will show the voting patterns across branches has also been denied agents.
A quick research from TheNigerialawyer, shows that Andrew Agbo-Madaki, is an Information Security Consultant with a degree in Sociology and a Masters in Computer Forensics.
He is also the CEO of Decy4 Technologies Limited a cyber security and technology consultancy.
However, we are of the view that he is writing on behalf of one of the candidates since he is not a lawyer.
Another Lawyer who wrote to TheNigeriaLawyer on the condition of anonymity, wrote: “We expected this election to be conducted by the ECNBA and not NBA but from the email sent out it was NBA National Executive, cos the amount of cyber fraud perpetrated all this while is unmanageable.
The Electoral Committee of the NBA, and the Bar Leadership is yet to respond to these allegations as at the time of this report.
