2. Abuja floods tragedy
Heavy rainfall caused flash flooding across several parts of Abuja, submerging vehicles and stranding residents.
Affected areas included Wuse 2, Gudu, Lokogoma, Gaduwa, and the bridge linking Gaduwa and Durumi.
In a separate exclusive report, the homes of the Kano State Deputy Governor and a former Inspector General of Police were among high-profile residences hit. Residents blamed the flooding on a blocked canal linked to a luxury estate associated with Senator Ibrahim Bomai.
