Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo is set to commence ward-by-ward and polling unit mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign ahead of the 2027 general election.
The move forms part of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign strategy to achieve a projected 2.5 million votes for the President in Edo State.
Director of Media for the Edo State Campaign Council, John Mayaki, disclosed the plan while responding to criticisms over the ambitious voting target.
According to him, the campaign structure will extend from state and local government levels down to wards and polling units.
Mayaki maintained that the target remains achievable and said the party would deploy extensive grassroots mobilisation efforts to realise the objective.
