The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Adewole Adebayo, has accused President Bola Tinubu of failing to address the country’s challenges and focusing instead on personal political interests.

Adebayo made the remarks in Ibadan during the presentation of his presidential blueprint titled Farewell to Poverty and Insecurity.

The SDP candidate alleged that the current administration had failed to meet citizens’ expectations in critical sectors such as education, healthcare, housing and economic development.

He urged Nigerians to organize democratically and reject what he described as poor governance and systemic exploitation.

Adebayo also warned of worsening economic conditions if current policies continue, predicting higher inflation and rising living costs.

The SDP flagbearer called for increased investment in education, healthcare, housing and renewable energy, including a nationwide solar power initiative aimed at improving electricity access.

He further urged Nigerians to look beyond ethnic and religious divisions and unite around a shared vision for national development.

According to him, meaningful change would require collective action, stronger civic engagement and greater accountability from political leaders.
