Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has unveiled “MORE Plus” as the theme of his re-election campaign and inaugurated the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

Oborevwori made the announcement on Thursday, October 22, during the inauguration ceremony in Asaba, the state capital.

The governor charged members of the campaign council to mobilise support for the APC across wards and polling units, stressing the need for unity, discipline and commitment ahead of the elections.

He described membership of the council as a call to service, urging its members to work collectively towards the electoral success of President Bola Tinubu, himself and other APC candidates.

Oborevwori said effective grassroots mobilisation would be essential to communicating the party’s programmes, engaging voters and strengthening its support base across Delta State.

The “MORE Plus” campaign theme builds on the governor’s existing MORE agenda, which is associated with his administration’s development priorities.

The inauguration of the campaign council signals the beginning of intensified political mobilisation by the ruling party in the state as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.

The governor called on party members to remain focused and coordinated in pursuing the APC’s electoral objectives.
