President Buhari with Indian Vice President Hon. Mohammad Hamid Ansari flanked by Indian Minister of State for Finance Mr Gangaram Meghwal and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Statehouse.

President Muhammadu Buhari travelled to the United Kingdom on January 19 for some rest and medical checks. He promised to resume work on February 6 but on February 5, he extended his sick leave via a letter to the National Assembly and a statement to the media.

Since he left, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has been acting. He has travelled several times to the Niger Delta for an engagement with oil producing communities and recently directed to the Central Bank to flood the Forex market with some dollars to assuage the pains of Nigerians, especially businessmen, students and patients.

Many Nigerians, especially those in the South, have begun to say that he has achieved in a month more than President Buhari has been able to achieve in 19 months. Many have suggested that he should remain in office while President Buhari should attend to his health, resign and return to Katsina.

We would like to know what you think. Should President Buhari resign after his medical vacation? Should he return to Aso Rock or to Katsina to have a well deserved rest?
