Princess Diana’s Death
On August 31, 1997, The Princess of Wales Diana died at the young age of 36, leaving behind sons Prince William and Harry. Princess Diana died as a result of injuries sustained after a car crash inside the Pont de l’Alma road tunnel in Paris, France. Diana’s boyfriend Dodi Fayed and the driver, Henri Paul, were pronounced dead at the scene. Princess Diana’s bodyguard Trevor Rees-Jones, was the only survivor of the accident. Initially, the cause of the accident was thought to be because of paparazzi, who were following the car, but later, it was revealed that the wreck wascaused by Paul.
