Tonight is the season 2 premiere of Animal Kingdom on TNT, and fans are itching to know the fate of the Cody family.
Smurf is the big-dog of the group, and typically plans the big jobs. This season, Smurf is no longer pulling the strings, and in the promo for tonight, we hear the guys telling others that Smurf is just using everyone to get what she wants. And she’s busy dealing with her own things– is her mom’s boyfriend alive, first and foremost?
The synopsis for tonight reads, “A risky heist misfires and the boys blame Smurf, sending shock waves through the family, in the Season 2 premiere. Also: Baz deals with being a single parent; and Deran plans for the future.”
Animal Kingdom is based on the 2010 Australian film of the same name. As last season progressed, Cat grew more curious of the Cody’s and began to suspect that they were directly involved in her parents’ death. Tonight, she may just find answers to her questions.
