Details of their interaction have not been disclosed, but reports said Mr. Buhari and Mr. Osinbajo spent only 60 minutes together.
So secretive was the meeting that Mr. Osinbajo did not take any question when he left the Abuja House in London, where Mr. Buhari is believed to have remained since he left Nigeria on May 7.
The meeting was not disclosed until the very last minute in a tweet by Mr. osinbajo’s spokesman Laolu Akande.
The News Agency of Nigeria said Mr. Osinbajo ‘swiftly left” Mr. Buhari to begin the journey home.
It was not clear whether Mr. Buhari was preparing to return soon or was saying goodbye as some had suggested.
