“DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS IN
NIGERIA”

Every brith in any part of Nigeria, whether in hospital, church,
home, market, hostel or any where must be registered and
certificate of registration issued. It is compulsory.
Every birth must be registered within 60 days from the day of such
birth for free or 12 months or more from the day of birth for a
prescribed fee.

My authorities are sections 1, 7, 10 and 52 of Births, Deaths
etc (Compulsory Registration) Act, 1992.
