Chief Judge of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu
Onnoghen, has appointed Delta State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice
Umukoro Marshal to be a member of the Legal Practitioners
Privileges Committee.
This was contained in a statement by the Public Relations
Officer, High Court of Justice, Asaba, Mr. Agbaragu Timothy, made

The Chief Justice of Nigeria who is also the Chairman of
the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee made this appointment
pursuant to section 5 (4) of the Legal Practitioners
Act Cap L11, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 as
Amended.
The Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee exercises full
control and management of the powers of appointing and preserving
the dignity of the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
Delta Chief judge while accepting the appointment thanked the
Chief Justice of Nigeria for the confidence reposed in him.
