Information reaching the TheNigerialawyer (TNL) is to the effect
that the NBA Port Harcourt branch chairman has been mercilessly
beaten by some APC thugs in the Court of Appeal, Port Harcourt
division.
TNL gathered that the incident happened while the Court was
still sitting, as Hon. Justice Gunmel refused to adjourn.
It was a whole scene of fiasco and chaos as court doors were
broken.
According to the information reaching our desk, the chairman was
heavily assaulted as the branch Exco tries to enforce the NBA
boycott directive in solidarity over the unlawful suspension of the
Chief Justice of Nigeria, Honourable Justice Walter Onnoghen.
