ELECO Clears Ten To Contest. – TheNigerialawyer

The Electoral Committee of the Uyo branch of Nigerian Bar
Association, yesterday, released names of aspirants cleared to
contest the branch 2019 election which comes up on Friday, 21st
June, 2019.

In a press release jointly signed by the Committee’s Chairman,
A.A. Asuquo and Secretary, Godknows Njoku, ten members of the
branch who had earlier purchased nomination forms were cleared to
contest the election. The positions of Chairman and Assistant
Secretary will be contested for at the upcoming election, while
contestants for other offices are unopposed.

According to the release, Etuk, Aniema Nelson
and Udofia,Godwin Bassey have been cleared to contest for the
office of Chairman, while Abia, Iquo Okon is the only person
cleared for the office of Vice Chairman, Secretary is Umoh, Andrew
Ben and Okafor, Olivia Chinemerem goes for Social Secretary.

Others cleared are; Ishoribo- Uwah, Aver Aniekeme for Treasurer,
Udofa- Poromon, Blessing Imo for Welfare Secretary and Etuk, Samuel
Akpadiagha for Publicity Secretary. The duo of Aquaisua, Ndifreke
Essien and Rivers, Udeme Udofia will slug it out for the position
of Assistant Secretary.
