We’ll monitor proposed special security fund, say Reps – TheNigerialawyer

The House of Representatives has said it will ensure proper
monitoring of the special national security fund when it is
created.

Chairman of the House Committee on Defence, Mr Babajimi Benson,
said his committee would work to ensure accountability and prudence
in government spending on security. He also assured all security
agencies of his committee’s readiness to work with them and support
them.

Benson stated that it had become necessary because of the
enormous tasks before both his committee and the security agencies
under him.
