THE FOUR OFFICIAL LANGUAGES OF THE NATIONAL
ASSEMBLY.
In Nigeria, the Senate and House of Representatives may conduct
their processings in any of these four languages:
(1) English
(2) Hausa
(3) Igbo
(4) Yoruba
STATE HOUSES OF ASSEMBLY.
The business of the Houses of Assembly shall be conducted in
English Language but the Houses may adopt any of the indigenous
languages spoken in the State.
Where proceedings are to be conducted in a language otherwise
than English language, adequate arrangements must be made for
therefore.
