According to the CIES. Michael Edwards. Stonks.

Diogo Jota had a very productive month for Liverpool FC in November – five goals in five games is
a solid A+ on any report card. It’s clear that football research
group CIES agrees – they are now valuing Diogo at €84 million –
equivalent to £75.2million. That’s a steep increase from the fee
Liverpool paid for him: £41million in case you already forgot.

In November alone, Diogo had an increase of €16.5
million/£14.7million. The only three players in Europe’s top
leagues to see their value increase more than Jota were Borussia Dortmund

wunderkinds Erling Haaland (up €35.3m) and Gio Reyna (up
€34.4m), and Manchester
United
penalty-savant Bruno Fernandes (up €19.9m).

The Diogo Jota transfer is yet another recruitment success story
under the stewardship of Klopp-Edwards. No one knows exactly what
goes on behind the scenes, but thankfully the panic signings that
were commonplace under Brendan Rodgers’ tenure as manager have
become a thing of the past. Signings like Diogo have a clear path
to success because of the collaboration between the coaches and
recruitment team, and that’s a wonderful thing. You love to see
it.
