A member of the Nigerian Bar Association Welfare Committee, Auta Nyada, has congratulated the Isiokpo Branch on their seminar tagged “CONTEMPORARY AREAS IN LEGAL PRACTICE: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS FOR YOUNG LAWYERS.”
Nyada, in a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, said that there’s more to legal practice. According to him, 21st century lawyers have more opportunities than lawyers of the past centuries
He said, “I heartily felicitate with the leadership and membership of the Young Lawyers Forum Isiokpo branch of the Nigerian Bar Association for putting up a theme of discuss such as this to remind your members that there is more to legal practice.
“Law as an instrument of social reengineering, has never been in short supply of emerging areas that Lawyers can venture into; even though it appears as if there are too many lawyers chasing few jobs.
“I believe that the 21st century lawyers have more opportunities than lawyers of the past centuries who were restricted to the orthodox practice of litigation alone.”
He therefore wished the Branch a successful deliberations and hoped that the outcome of the event shall serve as a tool for the advancement of legal practice and better earnings.
“Having said that, it is my hope and believe that at the end of this thought provoking and intellectually engaging seminar, you would have been handed the tools for advancement in practice and further and better earnings.
Once more, I wish you a fruitful deliberation.” Nyada said
