Trading activities on the floor of the Nigerian domestic bourse closed the day’s session positively continuing its bullish run with a +0.81% gain. The NgX-All share Index settled at 62,019.88 points, as investor’s interests in DANGSUGAR (+6.51%), FBNH (+2.70%), ACCESSCORP (+2.51%), DANGCEM (1.75%), ZENITHBANK (1.32%) and forty-nine (49) others put the market in the green zone. The ASI year-to-date (YTD) yield gained to settle at +21.01%.

FBNH led the top 5 most traded equities for the second consecutive session with (4.69)bn shares traded, with FCMB following with (126.77)mn, ACCESSCORP (56.48)mn, JAPAULGOLD (55.24)mn, and TRANSCORP with (49.18)mn units of shares, that made up 91.46% of total volume and 94.53% of the total value of traded transactions for the session. ACCESSCORP (660) and UBA (533) led one hundred and twenty-five (125) others on the deals table.

The total volume traded today increased by (+543.23%) to end the day with 5.44bn shares valued at N95.01bn traded in 9,948 deals compared to 846.32mn shares valued at N10.31bn traded in 9,815 deals, Market Index closed at 62,019.88 points compared to 61,523.57 points for Wednesday 05/07/2023 signifying an increase of  (+0.81%). Market Capitalization gained N270.24bn to close at N33.77tn against N33.50tn, also signifying an increase of (+0.81%) for the same period on the equities market.

Analysis of trading activities shows that one hundred and twenty-seven (127) equities were traded on, fifty-four (54) equities appreciated and eighteen (18) equities depreciated in price, while fifty-five (55) equities remained unchanged. ETERNA (+10.00%), UBN (+10.00%), MRS (+10.00%), LEARNAFRCA  (+10.00%), CONOIL (+10.00%) led forty-nine (49) others on the gainer’s table, while WAPIC (-9.59%), also led seventeen (17) others on the laggard’s table.
