The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has released the conference fees and registration details for its 2024 Annual General Conference, themed “Pressing Forward.” The conference is scheduled to take place from August 23-28, 2024.
According to the released fee structure, lawyers with 1-9 years of experience will pay N50,000 for regular registration between July 1-31, while those registering late between August 1-16 will pay N200,000. On-site registration for this category from August 23-27 will cost N250,000.
Lawyers with 10-19 years of experience will pay N100,000 for regular registration, N250,000 for late registration, and N350,000 for on-site registration. Those with 20 years of experience and above will pay N150,000, N300,000, and N400,000 for regular, late, and on-site registration, respectively.
Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs), Attorneys-General, and Benchers will pay N350,000 for regular registration, N500,000 for late registration, and N750,000 for on-site registration. Magistrates will pay a flat fee of N75,000.
Judges and Khadis will pay N100,000, while non-lawyers will pay N150,000 to attend the conference. International delegates will pay $500 for physical attendance and $350 for virtual participation.
The NBA has also announced that young lawyers with 1-7 years of experience can attend the conference for free, while lawyers with 8 years and above will pay a virtual attendance fee of N25,000. Senior lawyers aged 70 and above, as well as those with 40 years of post-call experience, will pay N50,000.
Registration for the conference is open on the NBA’s official website, www.nigerianbar.org.ng/conference. The NBA encourages all eligible members to register and participate in this annual gathering of the legal profession in Nigeria.
