The Edo State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has today announced the constitution of an Administrative Panel of Inquiry to investigate the affairs of the 18 suspended Local Government Chairmen and Vice Chairmen in the state.
The panel, which has been tasked with conducting a thorough examination of the activities and conduct of the suspended officials, is expected to ensure accountability, transparency, and good governance at the local government level.
The members of the panel are:
Solomon Imohiosen, Esq. – Chairman
Adaze Andrew Emwanta, Esq. – Member
Hon. Patrick Idiake – Member
Barr. Dorine Eduwui – Member
Barr. Henry Unoakhe Itseuwa – Member
Kazeem Afegbua – Member
Osagie Asabor, Esq. – Member/Secretary
The panel will be responsible for investigating the actions of the suspended officials and submitting a detailed report on their findings.
Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., the Secretary to the State Government, has expressed the government’s commitment to upholding transparency and accountability in all aspects of governance and will ensure that the panel’s work is carried out with the utmost diligence and professionalism.
