The horror scenes at La Quintinie hospital horrified the world and brought to the limelight the deplorable state of Cameroonian hospitals.
There were many reports. Some had claimed that when she arrived the hospital, she did not have money and doctors allowed her to die. She did, but with babies still alive in her womb, a relative rushed to a nearby pharmacy, bought a razor blade and tore her womb, brought out the babies alive, leaving bloodstains all over the place.But they later died.
Pictures of the deceased and her babies shared on the social media were shocking and devastating.
