By the time Buhari was overthrown in 1985, Paul Biya had been president of Cameroon for three years and was married to another woman.
30 years after in 2015, when Buhari, now turned democrat, was elected as president of Nigeria, Biya, now married to a woman 38 years younger than him, was still President of Cameroon, and had secured another seven – year term in 2011. That term will end in 2018.
