A 20-year-old University of Toledo student was last seen after biking with her boyfriend on the night of July 19. A massive search is on in rural Ohio, close to the town of Metamora, for Sierah Joughin. According to a Facebook page dedicated to helping the search, she had been out biking with her boyfriend when she was last seen.
Fulton County Sheriff Roy Miller told the media on the night of July 21 that Joughin’s purple bike had been found close to the area where she was last seen, reports NBC News. Miller also said that there were signs of a struggle. In a Snapchat photo that was uploaded by Joughin’s boyfriend, Josh Kolasinski, on the night she vanished, Joughin is shown to be wearing a Fitbit bracelet. Investigators are trying to track the missing woman through that. Miller added that there were several pings from Joughin’s cell phone that put the phone close to the Michigan border.
On her Facebook page, Joughin says that she has been a student at the University of Toledo since the fall of 2014. NBC News reports that she’s a student of human resource management.
The BRING SIERAH HOME Facebook page has amassed 2,500 followers at the time of writing. It says on that page that a $100,000 reward is being offered in the case.
